Yao Ye Baby. Go USA!

In the 2032 Olympics, USA Women's basketball should have the most dominant player on the planet and the Chinese government will not be happy about it. 7'6" Yao Ming's 6'3" wife Ye Li gave birth to their 1st daughter yesterday in Houston, Texas. Since the child was born in the US, she's already a US citizen.
Imagine the possibilities of this 7 pound 9 ounce baby girl. Both of her parents are professional basketball players. At his peak, her father was one of the best centers in the world. He's easily the most skilled & coordinated player over 7'2" of all time. This child could have even better genes for athletic success than Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf's kid.
Yao and Ye are Chinese citizens and their baby could opt to be one too. At this point, China doesn't recognize dual citizens. Yao has continued to be loyal to Chinese basketball, but he spends most of his time in America.
Their child was born in America during the off-season. Yao and Ye could have just as easily chosen to have the baby in China. Perhaps Yao already has an idea of life after his playing days and envisions continuing his residency in America. Maybe they just wanted to have an American baby.
Hard to say what their motives were since Yao and Ye have had little public comment about any of it. They haven't even revealed her name yet.
For now, I'm counting 1 chicken that hatched. A young American girl of Chinese descent that's probably going to be well over 6'6" at least with pro basketball playing parents.
Thanks Yao!
