Tyreke Evans whiffs in golf - video

Tyreke Evans showed skills while driving 130 mph down a California highway, but his driving skills on the golf course are severely lacking. Check him out at the Catta Verdera Country Club for the Bobby Jackson Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament on August 16.
Has Charles Barkley been dethroned as worst golfer in NBA history? At least he makes contact with the ball.
Who do you think has the ugliest NBA golf swing,  Tyreke Evans or Charles Barkley?

Tyreke Evans drives 130 mph on Police video

Tyreke Evans submitted a Cops style audition tape to star in the next Fast & Furious movie. He won't even need a stunt driver. His video features him racing down Highway 80 in California. It was shot from a helicopter that was following Tyreke's Mercedes at speeds of up to 130 at around 7 p.m. on Memorial Day.
Afterward, Evans said, "I felt like I wasn't going that fast but I was." It sounds like racing is in his blood. He might even become the first 2 sport NBA/NASCAR athlete.
Evans' fast ride probably wasn't worth his sentence of 3 years probation, 80 hours of alternative sentencing, participation in two California Highway Patrol smart driving programs for teens and a suspended license for 30 days.

Tyreke's Triple Double

Tyreke Evans of the Kings got his 1st career triple double in a Wednesday night win over the Toronto Raptors. Sacramento had declared "Rally for Reke" night to promote Evans as the Rookie of the Year. Evans delivered with 19 points, 10 assists & 10 rebounds.

With fans wearing white t-shirts that said "REKE ROY" and his face on cardboard sticks, Evans lived up to the hype in Arco Arena. He said "It reminded me of college back at Memphis. It was a college atmosphere out there. I had fun with it."

The crowd chanted "R-O-Y" throughout the game at the 6'6" guard who averages 20.3 points, 5.5 assists and 5 rebounds. Kings coach Paul Westphal encouraged Evans to find scorers late in the game so he could get his first triple double on his featured night.

The highlight bucket of the night also went to Evans with this over the backboard baseline runner.

Evans and the Kings face 2007 Rookie of the year Brandon Roy & the Blazers on Friday night.
