Carrie is currently working on her new up-coming CD. She also had the time and opportunity to contribute to the writing: "I think I should have three to five co-writes on the album," she says, "which is exciting for me."
The first single should be released in late summer, but no date is set. "We're not done with it, and there could be something excellent that comes in that we just have to [cut]," she says. "We're just going with the flow. It's been really easy so far, and I think that's pretty rare. Everybody agrees on everything, and it's just been fun and easy."
After taking some time off this summer, Carrie will promote the album in the fall and launch a tour in 2008.
