Oscar Awards 2011 Winners

It has been tough battle between at all the nominees at the 83rd Academy Awards at Los Angles on Sunday Evening.  Colin Forth won the Best Actor Award for "The King's Speech" and  Natalie Portman has won the Best Actress Award for her performance in Black Swan.  The King's Speech sweeps the Best Picture award, Tom Hooper won the Best Director Award for the same movie.

AR Rahman Missed out Oscar at 83rd Academy Awards

Indian Music Maestro A.R.Rahman misses out Oscar award in both categories he was nominated.  Earlier, AR Rahman was nominated in Best Original Score (for 127 Hours) and Best Original song (for "If I Rise") category.  Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross has won the Best Original Score for his music composition for "The Social Network".  Randy Newman won his second oscar award at the 83rd Academy award for his song "We Belong Together" from the animated film Toy Story 3. 
AR Rahman earlier had won two oscars (for Best Original Score and Best Original Song category) at the 81st Academy award ceremony in 2009, has misses out this time for his work in Danny Boyle's "127 Hours".
