After watching it, we think Unkle Karl needs to get this boy some lip syncing lessons.

Blake Lively will star the upcoming Chanel Handbags campaign

Back in July, Blake Lively and Karl Lagerfeld were snapped stepping out of the Ritz Paris together, and in September, her then-boyfriend Penn Badgley told The Cut: "He [Lagerfeld] and my girlfriend have become incredibly close. It's bizarre; I can't believe that we're just hanging out with Karl Lagerfeld." Sounds like the friendship has paid off: reports just surfaced that Lively will star in an upcoming Chanel handbag campaign, which she was just in Paris shooting. The ads are expected to launch early next year.

Karl Shoots Salma For V Spain

V Spain's winter issue features Salma Hayek on the cover along with a strategically placed V that immediately draws the viewer's eyes to her chest.
The booblicious actress was shot by Karl Lagerfeld wearing the same plated Alexander McQueen Resort dress that Anna Paquin wore to the Emmys.
We love the dress, but that's about it. They should have laid off the photoshop.

Unkle Karl Selects His Chanel Successor

In the November issue of Numero, Karl Lagerfeld reveals who he wants to take over for him when he exits Chanel.

He tells the mag:

“I have a contract for life so it all depends on who I would like to hand it to. At the moment I’d say Haider Ackermann.”

While the compliment is amazing, we don't think Haider should be waiting by the phone for that call. Karl's made it pretty clear he won't be retiring any time soon.

Vanessa Paradis Talks Unkle Karl In Interview

Model slash singer Vanessa Paradis has a photo spread in the November issue of Interview and it can only be described as one word: stunning.
Naturally, Johnny Depp's love is wearing all Chanel for the shoot and dished about her long history with the French fashion house and Karl Lagerfeld.
Vanessa tells Patti Smith:
We met a long time ago, but I've only really known him for a few years. Working with him on the things we do for Chanel is a collaboration, of course, but it's also just wonderful to be directed by him. Because the man is just a genius-a genius with a big sense of humor-which is so much fun to be around.
He comes prepared to photo shoots, but he also has a big kid's spirit as well-because his spontaneity is incredible. He'll come up with ideas on the spot, and they are even better than the ones he came with before. His imagination is constantly going and moving. I never thought I could speak like this about photo sessions, but when you're working with him, there is something deeper than just the image. It doesn't stop at the surface of, "Okay, we'll put makeup on, we'll put clothes on, and then take a pretty picture." It's deeper than that.
The more you get to know Karl Lagerfeld, the more you love him. There's something about his eyes. He always has those really dark glasses on, but then sometimes he'll take them off and you'll see the eyes. They are so pure and beautiful. It's really amazing, because he's got quite an impressive look, with the suits and the ties and the jewelry and everything, but underneath there's really a little boy.

Victoria Beckham puts a smile on her face ! Thanks to Uncle Karl!

It takes a lot for Victoria Beckham to crack a smile in public, much less a full on guffaw, but when Karl Lagerfeld tells a joke, you're definitely supposed to laugh.

The king and queen of stoicism broke character backstage at the International Herald Tribune Heritage Luxury Conference, when they were caught in a rare moment of happiness.

We could only imagine what these two talked about, but we have a feeling food wasn't one of them. Kidding , kidding !

Unkle Karl used a fan to hit his coworkers... hahah

Working with Karl Lagerfeld wasn't all plain sailing for Julien Macdonald. The designer was spotted and hired by the Chanel legend at the age of 21.
"He used to carry around an old fashioned black fan and when you were being difficult he'd hit you with it," reveals the designer. "He'd taunt you then hit you with it - it was all done in a joking way and never done very hard, but I do remember it quite clearly. It was his alternative to a stick I suppose. Now Karl's signature is his silver jewellery but then it was these specially crafted fans. I'm quite glad I had to deal with the fans and not the jewellery. You'd get knocked out if he jokingly hit you with any of those."

Now we know the reason why he is always wearing those legendary gloves... To stop contamination when slapping coworkers ! Who's ready for a little slap !??

Courtney Love covers Madonna in Paris

Last month, Courtney Love attended the V Magazine party in Paris.
And Miz Love decided to sign her version of Madonna's Like A Prayer.
It's rather unique to say the least.
Also spotted at the event was Karl Lagerfeld who can be seen staring at Courtney. No sign of emotions. No sign of liking it one bit.
