After graduating from high school, Eva Mendes began studying marketing at the Los Angeles university and abandoned to devote herself fully to her career as an actress. Eva Mendez started appearing in series like Mortal Kombat and Emergency Room.
In 2001 Eva Mendes found her first major role by starring with Denzel Washington in Training Day. They will meet two years later on the filming of Out of Time. Meanwhile, Eva Mendes joined the cast of 2 Fast 2 Furious and follows by the sequel of Desperado, making her used to blockbuster productions.
Wishing to become detached from this image, Eva Mendes takes part in lighter films as Hitch (where she seduces Will Smith) or Trust the Man in which she meets with Maggie Gyllenhaal and Billy Crudup, two rising actors. Eva Mandes starred with Nicolas Cage in Ghost Rider, the film adaptation of the eponymous comic book.
