A Lionsgate representive Said ::
"We just want to find the right home for [the film],and that [date] didn't feel like it."
The film is based on the popular Janet Evanovich series, following bail bondswoman Stephanie Plum. Lionsgate moved the release date from July 8 to June 3 to avoid competing with Sony's "The Zookeeper" and Warner Bros. "Horrible Bosses." Now the studio fears that the film won't stand up against "X-Men: First Class" and plans to release the film to an undetermined date later this year.
She has done a string of romantic comedies, several of which have been considered box office flops. Her Ashton Kutcher comedy thriller "Killers" pulled in $47 million in the box office last year, but had a $75 million budget.
Katherine began her career modeling before appearing in movies like "My Father the Hero," "Knocked Up" and "The Ugly Truth." Heigl also appeared on shows like "Roswell" and "Grey's Anatomy."
